Friends of the Library of Sewanee: The University of the South invites you to attend a Faculty Panel discussion at 5 p.m, Wednesday, May 1, in the Torian Room, on the second floor of duPont Library. Five faculty members will talk briefly about their recent research and publications. We will also host a reception at 5:45 p.m. in the Main Lobby of duPont in recognition of all of our faculty for their good work in research and publication.
Amy Patterson, Politics; Rob Bachman, Chemistry; Pradip Malde, Art, Art History and Visual Studies; Stephanie McCarter, Classics; and Julia Gatta, School of Theology will share experiences about their research and projects.
You can find a list of faculty publications and projects on duPont Library’s website <https://library.sewanee.edu/faculty_publications>. The University Bookstore will have several recent books by faculty available for sale at the reception and you can view and check out the most recently published materials in our display case and bookshelves.
