Consider landscape as a place and as an idea, in Mary Stuart Hall’s two-channel video and sound installation “Sympathetic Dissonance” in the Carlos Gallery of the Nabit Art Building. Celebrate the legacy of women at Sewanee with “Skirts and Gowns” in the Museum Gallery, William R. Laurie Archives and Special Collections, curated by Introduction to Museum Studies students, Easter 2019 and catch up with the accomplishments of classmates at the Alumnae Arts Showcase in Spencer Commons. Receptions crafted by Sewanee Dining will respond to the exhibitions, and dance and musical performances inspired by the exhibitions will take place in multiple locations on campus. The event is free and open to the public.
