Sewanee Trust for Historic Preservation
The Sewanee Trust for Historic Preservation (STHP) meets at 4 p.m., Monday, Oct. 21, in the Hethcock Room, Otey Parish. The public is invited.
The Sewanee Utility District of Franklin and Marion Counties Board of Commissioners will have its regular meeting at 5 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 22, at the utility office on Sherwood Road. The Board of Commissioners for the Sewanee Utility District will be discussing whether to cease feeding fluoride in the drinking water. Members of the EQB Club will gather at 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 23, at St. Mary’s Sewanee. Lunch will be served at noon. At about 12:30 p.m., we will have the pleasure of a Lead by Rea Mingeva, “Wish you were here,” about what drives this artist to document her solitary travels. Interested non-members are welcome to arrive at 12:30 p.m. and sit in on the presentation.

Commercial Club Fall Banquet
Cowan Commercial Club will hold the annual fall banquet at 6 p.m., Monday, Oct. 28. Area residents and business owners are invited to join us for dinner and a special presentation on community partnerships. We will also install our officers for the new fiscal year.
