South Cumberland Conservative Network Meeting
Laurie Cardoza-Moore will speak on “Anti-Semitism in America” at 6 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 8, at the Franklin County Annex Building, 851 Dinah Shore Blvd., Winchester. A meet and greet with light refreshments will begin at 5:30 p.m.
Coffee with the Coach
Coffee with the Coach, an opportunity to learn more about Sewanee’s sports teams will meet at 9 a.m., Monday, Feb. 10, with Jeff Heitzenrater, from the Admissions office. Meet at the Blue Chair Tavern for free coffee and conversation.

The Franklin County School Board will meet at 6 p.m., Monday, Feb. 10, at the Franklin County Board of Education Building, 215 S. College St., Winchester.
International P.E.O. Sisterhood Meeting

La Leche League
The next meeting of the La Leche League, which provides breastfeeding support and information for new mothers, will be at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 11, at the Sewanee Community Center, 39 Ball Park Rd. Rotary Club Meetings
The Grundy County Rotary Club meets at 11:30 a.m., Tuesdays at Dutch Maid Bakery in Tracy City.
The Monteagle-Sewanee Rotary Club meets on Thursdays, at 8 a.m., at the Sewanee Inn. The presention on Feb. 13, will be given by May Kamalick. Her topic will be “Arab and Arab Americans: A Conversation in Diversity.”
Members of the EQB Club will gather at 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 12, at St. Mary’s Sewanee. Lunch will be served at noon. At about 12:30 p.m., we will have the pleasure of a Lead by member Sally Hubbard about her family trip to the Bay of Fundy on Canada’s eastern seacoast last September. Interested non-members are welcome to arrive at 12:30 p.m. and sit in on the presentation.
Sewanee Book Club
The Sewanee Book Club will meet on Monday, Feb. 17, at 1:30 p.m. Sally Hubbard will lead the book review of “The Girl in Green” by Derrick Miller. The Sewanee Utility District of Franklin and Marion Counties Board of Commissioners will have its regular meeting at 5 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 18, at the utility office on Sherwood Road. Sewanee Community Council
The next meeting of the Community Council is scheduled at 7 p.m., Monday, March 23, at the Sewanee Senior Citizens’ Building.
Monday, Feb. 24, is reserved as a possible meeting date and will meet then if there are urgent concerns. If there are any items for discussion that cannot wait until March, please submit them to the Provost’s office by noon on Wednesday, Feb. 12.
