Sewanee Village Project Virtual Open House
For the last three years, Frank Gladu, Special Assistant to the Vice-Chancellor at The University of the South, has hosted an open house during the Fourth of July activities in Sewanee. This gave everyone an opportunity to view the maps and renderings of the Village Project, and ask questions.

Rotary Club Meeting
The Monteagle-Sewanee Rotary will meet at 8 a.m., Thursday, July 9, at the Sewanee Inn.The meeting will also be available to members and interested quests via Zoom transmission. Guest speaker will be Sally Avery, Director of Economic Research in Tennessee. She will discuss recruitment and expansion of businesses in and to Tennessee, and share some economic trends relevant to economic development.
Franklin County Democratic Women Meeting
The Franklin County Democratic Women will sponsor a meet and greet with State Senate candidate Sheila Younglove on Saturday, July 11. Sheila is running against incumbent Janice Bowling. The event will be from 9-11 a.m. at the home of Sandy Rice, 201 Kentucky Ave., Sewanee. Masks are required and social distancing will be possible throughout the acre yard. Suggested donation is $100 but any amount is welcome.
