Coffee with the Coach
Coffee with the Coach, an opportunity to learn more about Sewanee’s sports teams, will livestream the meeting at 9 a.m., Monday, April 5. The livestream will be available at <https://www.facebook.com/SewaneeTigers/>. Opportunities will be available on Sunday to submit questions in advance or during the live show on the social media platforms, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram @SewaneeTigers. For those unable to view the meeting live, the content will be accessible on-demand on the Facebook page. It will also be available on the website <www.sewaneetigers.com> and on the University of the South’s YouTube Channel by midday on Mondays.
Franklin County School Board
The Franklin County School Board will have a work session at 6 p.m., Monday, April 5. The Franklin County School Board meet in regular session at 6 p.m., Monday, April 12. The meetings will be held at the Franklin County Board of Education, 215 S. College St., Winchester.
Monteagle Regional Planning Commission
The Monteagle Regional Planning Commission is scheduled to meet at 6 p.m., Tuesday, April 6, in the Conference Room at City Hall.
Members of the EQB Club will have the pleasure of a Zoom lead by Patrick Dean at noon, Wednesday, April 7, titled “What’s New with the Mountain Goat Trail?” As executive director of the Mountain Goat Trail Alliance (MGTA), Dean will present an update on plans for further construction of the Trail, as well as initiatives the MGTA is involved in to promote engagement with the trail and its history. Please join us as Dean reveals and explores these future MGTA plans. Sewanee Community Council
The next meeting of the Community Council is scheduled for Monday, May 24, 2021, at 7 p.m.
We have reserved Monday, April 19, 2021, as a possible meeting date and will meet then if there are urgent concerns. If there are any items for discussion that cannot wait until May, please submit them to the Provost’s office by noon on Wednesday, April 7.
