Voting Information for Aug. 6 Election


Aug. 6, 2020 is voting day for the State Primary and County General Election. Early voting takes place July 17-Aug. 1. 

If you are unable to appear at your polling place on Election Day or during the Early Voting period, you may request an absentee ballot. You may request ballots to be mailed until July 30. 

On Election Day, Aug. 6, vote at your local precinct.

Primary elections will be held for U.S. Senate, U.S. House of Representatives, Tennessee Senate (even-numbered districts), and Tennessee House of Representatives. General elections will be held for applicable county offices and state judicial offices where a vacancy has occurred.
